About Kayla
Kayla Scudder, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant who received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Barton College and her Masters in Physician Assistant Medicine from The University of Lynchburg. Before joining Johnston Pain Management, Ms. Scudder’s most recent clinical practice was in orthopedic surgery. She is a current member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
As a prior collegiate athlete, Ms. Scudder understands the importance of leading an active lifestyle. She is committed to educating her patients so that they have the ability to make informed decisions and play an important role in their individual care. As an Eastern North Carolina native, Ms. Scudder is honored to get to know and help those in our local communities. As a compassionate member of the team at Johnston Pain Management, Mrs. Scudder looks forward to welcoming both new and returning patients to the practice.
